Stay far away from this franchise and the management team that includes Stephen Giordanella. Stephen Giordanella himself has a very dark history, he also has a history of failed businesses all while marketing franchises to individuals. It is believed that IHMAC has a failure rate exceeding 80%. Franchisees have suffered greatly financially with some filing bankruptcy and losing their homes in the process. The franchise was well aware that franchisees struggled to become profitable and did nothing about it. Now they have 10 remaining locations. They know the franchise is a failure and despite that the same management team has created PILAR COFFEE BAR AND ICED TREATS.. consider yourself warned and stay away. Additionally they are preparing CHEESE LOVERS KITCHEN. Stephen Giordanella has a lengthy legal history that will alarm you. Currently business partners in New York are suing him and alleging he has misused company funds. The state of Indiana has an active lawsuit against I HEART MAC AND CHEESE AS WELL. Members of management have had bankruptcies of their own that were not disclosed.
